Our year round, skill-based enrichment program is geared to meet young adults that desire a different way of living. This is relevant, hands-on learning with purpose.

If you choose to join us in this hands-on learning experience, you can expect to learn plenty of “things”. But more importantly you will learn to approach problems with ingenuity and determination. Whether you choose to pursue college, a trade, the military, or launch your own business, our focus on creative thinking will prepare you for your next step. We are all excited to watch your capacity and confidence grow as you are supported in your journey into “adulthood”.

Our programs are built around the three pillars of sustainable agriculture, architecture, and economics. In learning to grow your own food, build and power your own house, and how to keep your money local, you will learn natural building skills, be introduced to the guiding principles of permaculture, design and install solar and wind systems, build and use composting toilets, capture rainwater and redirect greywater, grow a productive garden, can food, make yogurt and cheese, raise chickens and goats, plan and launch a business, and hone personal finance skills. All these “things” will be done with deliberation and purpose, focusing on the why and the design of each so that, in turn, you develop the skills to walk lightly on this planet and to live a life well-lived.
